Covering everything from Juniors, through Seniors to Masters (O40s upwards, was called Veterans)

Although most of the news you might see is about the teams representing the County at different age levels, we have a good league and club structure across the county for all levels and we hope to keep you up to date with information on clubs for juniors and adults around the county, league positions, upcoming tournaments and their results. There are several active groups of beginners and improvers alongside clubs catering for players of all levels all across the county. If you want to learn more about Badminton in Somerset please feel free to have a look around the website. 



  1. To introduce more people of all ages into badminton and encourage them to play regularly
  2. To provide people of all ages with opportunities for improvement and competition at all levels
  3. To improve the performance of all the county squads each year
  4. To retain players in the sport and encourage their transition into club badminton
